1. This level is ideal for students who have no prior knowledge of Chinese. Even though you know nothing about Pinyin or Chinese characters, you can begin with this level.
2. You’ll learn the basic pronunciation of Mandarin Chinese including vowels and consonants, tones and spelling in this level.
3. On a completion of this level, you should be able to read and write all the syllables in the language.

1. This level is ideal for those who have some knowledge of phonetic system, and can read some syllables or recognize a few characters.
2. You’ll learn some colloquial expressions in Pinyin, such as "Nǐ hǎo!","Xiàn zài jǐ diǎn?", etc.
3. Having finished this level, you will be able to say some Chinese phrases for everyday use fluently.
4. Ten lessons in all. It is equal to the Beginner Level of the Chinese Syllabus.

1. Learn about 800 common characters and 1000 common phrases.
2. Learn to express yourself freely in such situations as self- introduction, boarding, baggage claim, lodging, money exchange, taking a taxi, etc. After you have completed this level, you should be able to an independent tour around China and speak Chinese.
3. Ten lessons in all. It is equal to the elementary level of Chinese Syllabus.

1. Learn about 1000 common characters and 1500 common phrases.
2. Learn to express yourself freely under in such situations as: taking a taxi, being a guest, banqueting, checking out, making an appointment over the telephone, shopping, asking directions, etc. After you have completed this level, your language skill in tourism will be good enough to experience Chinese culture with great confidence and immerse yourself in the Chinese lifestyle.
3. Fourteen lessons. It is equal to the Intermediate Level of the Chinese Syllabus.

1. Learn about 2000 common characters and 2500 common phrases.
2. Learn about some world famous tourist attractions or cultural sites such as Beijing (Great Wall, Forbidden City), Xi'an (Terra Cotta Warriors), Guilin, Chengdu, Lhasa etc, and learn more useful expressions in scenarios, such as watching performances and TV programs, talking about weather, buying souvenirs, meeting old friends by chance, etc.
3. After you have completed this level, your language skill in tourism will be good enough to learn about Chinese culture with deeper insight. If necessary, you can find new jobs related to tourism, such as a tour guide in a travel agency to receive Chinese visitors, or in a hotel or restaurant staff to receive Chinese guests, etc.
4. Fourteen lessons in all. It is equal to the Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate Level of the Chinese Syllabus.
