山不在高，有仙则名；水不在深，有龙则灵    
shān bù zài gāo ， yŏu xiān zé míng ； shuĭ bù zài shēn ， yŏu lóng zé líng
英译 (English) Any mountain can be famous with the presence of an immortal, and any river can be holy with the presence of a dragon.
释义 (paraphrase) 山不一定要高，有仙人（居住）就能天下闻名；水不一定要深，有龙（居住）就能降福显灵。
示例 (demonstration) 外在的条件并不重要，关键是自身的修养，所谓“山不在高，有仙则名”。
