Train is the most convenient and inexpensive means to travel between big cities in China. There are two kinds of tickets: sleeper tickets (hard berth and soft berth) and seats. When buying a train ticket, you can say “Wǒ yào yī zhāng piào”(I want a ticket) and then tell the clerk clearly about the date and place of destination. It is advisable to buy the ticket beforehand before most people love to travel by train.
