Get yourself good microphone and headsets, which is to be used in Live Class communication. In ChineseHour live class, our teacher talk to you through microphone (If you can't hear her, she will send message to ask you the reason), instruct you to recite the new words and sentences, correct your pronunciations. So, to ensure the learning efficiency, please make sure that your microphone and headsets work well.

ChineseHour Live Class employs the leading-edge but easy-to-use platform for your Chinese learning, which is widely used for international institutes to deliver online courses. Java Web Start™ is needed before launching the Live Class software. If you don't install Java, the system will ask you to download and install one when you enter the homepage of live class. Then follow the instruction and install it.

Note:If you don't see that warning, you may have installed Java in your PC, so you can enter the test classroom directly. If you have the lower version of Java, you may not be able to connect to the live class. So, you need to upgrade your Java, or uninstall it and download the latest version.

For first time users, we recommend you enter our testing room before you enter the real-time Live Class.

You may need several minutes to launch the live software. But it is a one-time process so you do not need to do that when you enter the real-time classroom. Then, configure your audio and connection when you are in the testing room.

Everything goes well. Then pay attention to our Live schedule and find some topics that may attract you. Or, enter whatever comes first. The more you practise, the faster you improve you spoken Chinese.
