This reading course is intended for intermediate non-native Chinese speakers. The reading materials cover wide ranges of subjects in various styles. The subjects range from politics, economics, traditional culture, law, environmental protection, health and medicine to international exchanges. The styles include news reports, prose, essays, posters, and editorials. Our teacher will help you to improve your reading comprehension rapidly. This course is divided into 3 levels, 48 lessons in all.


1. This level is ideal for those who have reached the intermediate Chinese level with a vocabulary of 1500 words.
2. By the end of this level, you are expected to understand the news reports from Chinese newspapers and TV programs.
3. Eighteen lessons in all, 36 classes needed. It is equal to HSK 6-8.



1. There is no obvious difference in length and difficulty among all the reading materials within this level. It effectively facilitates the learning process by choosing materials of different subjects, styles, vocabulary and expressions in every lesson.
2. Fifteen lessons in all.




1. The reading skills in this level enable you to enlarge your range of language materials, broaden your vocabulary and greatly improve your comprehension of the language and its culture.
2. By the end of this level, you are expected to be able to read Chinese newspapers, magazines and novels easily.
3. Fifteen lessons in all. It is equal to the Upper-Intermediate Level of HSK.
